Healthy Living at the CF Shops at Don Mills

With beautiful parks, green space and trails in the Don Mills neighbourhood, it’s no wonder CF Shops at Don Mills is a destination for outdoor adventurers, yoga enthusiasts and health nuts! I spent an afternoon discovering the area’s best health conscious offerings, and to share a little #fitspo from the Shops at Don Mills.

The first store I visited was The 11 Inc. This cycling store is unlike any other in the city and offers a curated collection of bicycles, gear and accessories. I was swooning over their Shinola bicycles, which are made right in Detroit. They even sell matching watches and bike wine holders! The philosophy behind their store is to offer their customers the perfect fitting ride, and have body scanning technology to ensure maximum comfort. Founded by former racer, Heath Cockburn, the sole location is a destination in itself… I even sat in their lounge and watched Le Tour de France! I had the chance to test drive a beautiful Shinola cruiser, and took it for a spin around the Shops!

I headed to yoga class in the Town Square, but first I stopped into Drink Juice Co. to pick up something to drink. The juice store is a popup for the summer, and offers a menu of cold-pressed juices. If you’re not a fan of green smoothies, their grapefruit and watermelon juices are sure to please any taste!

With my juice in hand, I headed to yoga class. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. Your Toronto Physiotherapy runs complimentary yoga classes. It was a great way to de-stress and enjoy the gorgeous weather outdoors.

Afterwards, I realized I forgot my water bottle at home, so I went to the Well.ca popup store to check out their selection of S’Well bottles. The pop up store will be at the Shops at Don Mills until October 2016, but I loved having a chance to check out a curated selection of their best products in store. From made-in-Toronto beauty to eco-friendly baby accessories, Well.ca is a great place to grab a gift for any occasion. They also had aromatherapy products to help you de-stress, and green cleaning products for the home. While Well.ca has a wide selection online, it’s really convenient to have this unique retailer right next door!

I can’t wait to make Tuesday and Thursday evening yoga classes a ritual, and have stocked my fridge with juices too. Who knows, maybe I will pick up cycling next!
